UMD Students! If you're interested in working on a research project this summer and have connected with a UMD faculty mentor who can advise your project, we encourage you to consider applying for OUR's Student-Proposed Innovation & Research Experience (SPIRE). SPIRE participants are UMD undergraduates who work closely with faculty mentors on summer research projects while engaging with the broader community of SPIRE researchers. Program participants receive a stipend.
