Undergraduate Research Day 2025 will take place Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 2-4 pm in the Stamp Student Union's Grand Ballroom. At this event, hundreds of UMD students in all areas of study will share posters highlighting research projects on which they have worked. If you recently completed a research project or have one underway, we encourage you to present your work at the event! If you'd like to share a project at Undergraduate Research Day 2025, the first step is to review the event website and then prepare and submit a short proposal to present. We strongly encourage you to submit your proposal by the recommended deadline, Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:59 pm, for two reasons:
Event capacity is limited, and submitting by this date maximizes your chances of being accepted to present at the event.
Presenters who submit their proposals by this date will be eligible to be nominated for an Excellence in Research Award. These awards recognize Undergraduate Research Day presenters who have undertaken projects that advance important conversations in their fields and who have demonstrated creativity and resilience as researchers.
The final deadline for submitting a proposal to present is Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
