IRIE Call for Proposals 2025
For Campus Partners Seeking:
A course-based way to engage 10 undergraduate students in on-site research for 8 weeks during the summer (typically June & July).
Description:
The OUR IRIE program is an opportunity for a faculty member or research center to have 10 undergraduate students on site for 8 weeks during the summer. Students are enrolled in a course and are expected to be on campus at least 15 hours per week. This engagement requires a dedicated instructor of record who spends at least 25 hours per week working directly with students in an on-campus research environment.
OUR Provides:
Course creation & scheduling, faculty readiness and support, faculty stipend (when needed), student recruitment & management, assessment & evaluation, summative dissemination experience.
Campus Partner Provides:
Instructor & faculty mentor, research facilities, equipment & consumables. Time commitment of instructor and faculty mentor is 25 hours per week.
